You’ve entered the tender question into an AI tool and received a professional-looking response.

It reads well. But is it ready to submit? Not necessarily.

Before submitting AI-assisted tender content, check these eight areas.

Verify every factual statement.

Has every part of the buyer’s question actually been answered?

Are claims supported by genuine evidence from your organisation?

Could this response have been written for another buyer? If so, it probably needs more tailoring.

Does the response give evaluators what they need to award marks?

Check KPIs, timelines, staffing levels, social value commitments and other promises.

Check word limits, templates, required information and submission instructions.

Finally, have someone with tender experience read it. Ask them: Would you be confident submitting this response exactly as it stands?

AI can be useful for developing tender content, but the final submission is still your responsibility.
