With clients in 50+ countries and offices in the UK, USA and India, we are an ambitious firm excited by high growth.<\/p>\n<p>The successful recruit will join an already committed and high achieving team and will be based in our Durham, UK office. We value ambition, teamwork, and consistency, and we always promote from within when our employees show us what they\u2019re capable of.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sourcing tendering opportunities for clients, researching the documents and providing a synopsis of the opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Cold calling to generate new opportunities and clients for our company (2 hours per day)<\/li>\n<li>Following up incoming leads, providing quotations and closing deals.<\/li>\n<li>Using our internal CRM system to log communications<\/li>\n<li>Working across different divisions to upsell our other services to your clients.<\/li>\n<li>Offering product demonstrations of our sector specific bidding portals \u2013 Hudson Discover.<\/li>\n<li>Work to a sales target of \u00a330,000 per month.<\/li>\n<li>Sell the services from our various different division, bid writing, design, business planning and product technology.<\/li>\n<li>Reading and digesting large bidding documents.<\/li>\n<li>Handing over new clients professionally and consistently to our delivery teams.<\/li>\n<li>Attending and feeding into daily sales huddles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working in the world of tendering and procurement is fast paced, so you must be able to keep up with the speed in which we work. However, full and robust training will be given.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We require someone who is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bright and ambitious.<\/li>\n<li>Not afraid of change \u2013 as a growing business our business is constantly changing for the better.<\/li>\n<li>Confident and keen.<\/li>\n<li>Organised, with exceptional accuracy. Tendering is constant deadlines which cannot be moved.<\/li>\n<li>Not afraid to pick up the phone and speak with clients. This is an essential part of the role which you will be doing from week one of your Hudson journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Particulars:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is an office-based role Monday-Thursday 9-5:30pm and Friday 9-5pm. No remote work will be granted.<\/li>\n<li>Starting salary \u00a327,000, after passing your 6 months probationary period you will increase to \u00a330,000 basic.
